Michael louis johnson &
RED RHYTHM

2003 – Present

Every Saturday since November of 2003, our tiny bar hosts an afternoon of “Swing Manouche” I bartend. The acoustic string quartet sets up in the front window and rips through my favourite songs in the style of Django Reinhardt. I sing and play trumpet while still serving the room.  It is a unique experience, one filled with tradition and ceremony, songs and stories, and many many vodka shots.
